Basic obedience class, is all you would need to teach the basics.





The basics to teaching a dog at all is being able to get their attention. Try teaching her a simple ';Watch Me'; command. Get it's attention with a treat in your hand.. bring the treat slowly up to your nose. As soon as her eyes meet yours.. Give her a treat. Keep doing this for a day or two. Start to make her wait longer before she gets the treat. Should be able to get their attention up to 20 seconds after a week or two. Once you can get them to keep their attention on you, you can practically teach them anything.
Training a dog takes lot's of patience and hard work. She needs to be rewarded and encouraged alot. You can read books from the library about how to train dogs too. You have to go over and over with her, what you want her to do and praise her when she does it correctly. That is so cool that you want to train her:)
hmmm try the command ';gimme paw'; have her sit in front of you then hold your hand out and say ';gimme paw'; she probably wont do it the first time so grab her paw and shake it gently then give her a treat. repeat the process she'll get it .
