About the Soviet comparison, though, I thought of that recently when I hear an older woman (mid 60's) tell someone ';I you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear';. Whoa. That was a quote straight outta Moscow under Stalin. She should know better, growing up in the Cold War and all. Kinda scary.
