In otherwords, wouldn't businesses stop looking to immigrants as a source of cheap labour, and wouldn't this do something to rectify the issue of people coming over and stealing american jobs?





Not that i necessarily agree with that, i'm just arguing the point.If we gave illegal immigrants the same rights as ordinary citizens, wouldn't that mean they would get paid mor?
If you are going to pretend to be American, it's spelled labor';. We KNOW what happens if illegal aliens are granted amnesty. We've been there and done that already once before. It was the biggest mistake of Reagan's administration when he offered amnesty to them. It created the idea that all they had to do was get over the border and then they would become citizens. The result is the additional 20-30 million that have invaded since. And that doesn't include the previous wave who were granted citizenship rights.





It's a huge mistake that we should have learned from. Those who were around then remember. The kiddies don't seem to be learning about it in history.





Like every other country in the world, the US has immigration procedures. These procedures allow people from all over the world to immigrate fairly to the US. When illegal aliens swarm the borders, without background checks, criminal checks, health checks nor any regard to the ability of the US to house or receive them, we have to tighten up our international immigration flow from elsewhere as we simply do not have the resources to allow more people in. It's not fair to legal immigrants and it's not fair to those who wish to immigrate here from every other country of the world. Nor is it fair to American citizens.If we gave illegal immigrants the same rights as ordinary citizens, wouldn't that mean they would get paid mor?
Once illegal , all been deprived of every benefits , good and high compensation because you did not passed on due process properly.You may be block listed anytime and could not enjoy your chance of another entry on legal terms. If you are an illegal immigrants , do you think you could enjoy working and staying the country which you prefer without any fear of being caught by the concern authorities ? There are certain rules , procedures and system how could you avail the legal one, The US Embassy can help you that as i did. Yes, its a long process , it takes time and so many papers to be accomplished but the output is for your advantage.Don't go for the easy one because it will be a lot of trouble in the end. One tip.. Yes they would be paid more. MOST illegal aliens have a very poor educational background, and in that culture, school is not included. Because that is the case, if we provide amnesty, which is what you are looking at here, it would cost American Taxpayers about 2.6 trillion dollars.

they are illegal aliens not immigrants. immigrants follow laws and are documented. No they do not deserve to be citizens, they have intentionally broke laws and disrespected our country. If that happened we would have more illegals coming in to replace the cheap labor. they would demand another amnesty just as they are doing now. The 20 million illegal aliens we have now need deported. only solution that will work!
Yes, the employers would be forced to pay more, which won't happen. Instead, the unemployment rate will skyrocket while the employers wait for the next crop of illegals to flood over the border - and we know that they will, just like they did when Reagan offered amnesty back in the 80's.
The employers will just wait for more illegals to come over. We need to actually enforce our immigration laws and secure our borders. Illegals are not needed here.
the way things are going we do not have enough jobs for citizens no less for the criminal element . hispanics are loosing there jobs because of employers being very leary of who might or might not be working for them .
So we will have a bunch of ';unordinary citizens?
