i have a very high calorie diet and it is hard for me to just eat lean foods because i am working alot. in total i get about 1,800 cal worth of food , 40% of that is lean meats. by me drinking my protein shake that brings me up to 3,800 cal. i still get the amount of protein for the day. is that good? YES or NO?I consume mor protein shakes the eating foods. Is that good or not ?
It is best to have a rounded out diet especially with raw salads. That way you get the full spectrum of their vitamin %26amp; minerals w/ co-factors.
That being said, I risk being the pot calling the kettle black. I have very difficult time eating. So just to get SOME nutrition in me, I have an 8oz. protein drink every 3 hours. I selected this time frame based on the nutrition values for the supplement. Meaning I get 100% daily values.
The container warns me that it is to SUPPLEMENT balanced meals. But I had to kinda' choose the lesser of 2 evils in my battle to get nutrition.
So for me, it's the protein drinks %26amp; I will try to make a salad with many different components at least a few times a week.
We need more than just protein. But I understand the BZ life so do what you can until you can slow down enough to focus on good nutrition or else you'll pay for this later on down the ages.
