if she is a puppy she might be teething and it could pass in time. However, it is very common for dogs to eat rocks. I would let her just have one or two to keep her from digging up your yard and not worry about it, it's not going to hurt her....My golden puppy ate a rock is that normal she always has rocks in her mouth. Puppies usually pass small stones.
If it is too big, or has jagged edges it may be hard to pass or cause irritation or even lacerations in the gut.
Watch him closely.
If he stops eating or becomes ill, get himto a vet.
she wont have teeth by tomorrow
its not healthy for a puppy to eat rocks because one day she might get to big of a rock and then she is capable of dying if she keeps eating rocks....
why are you letting ur dog eat rocks what is wrong with you??
Check online under correcting animal behaviour. Chewing rocks is going to ruin your dogs teeth so you have to stop her. I think it's a pretty normal thing that dogs do though.
Puppies chew on things. Rocks included. Training is a need to teach her to listen to you so when you see her doing this you can give her a command to stop and drop what is in her mouth. Rocks can be very dangerous for dogs. Try putting out chew toys around the yard perhaps she will begin to play with thiem instead. Also when you take away the rocks, tell her no and then give her a toy and tell her yes.
You should get her into a puppy training class. That would help stop the puppy behaviors like chewing, biting, digging, nipping, jumping, barking etc.
I was watching Animal Planet once and these people had to take their dog in for surgery because it ate lots of rocks and after surgery they had this huge bag of rocks to take home that they got out of the dog. Some of them might digest if they are small but huge ones might get stuck. Especially if its a little dog.
I think you just have to keep a watch and take the pebble out of her mouth and replace it with a chew toy or get more toys. My puppy searches for pebbles or rocks so I had to put up a fence. What dogs and puppies love is a antelope hoof. It is a real hoof that is similar to the rocks but she can actually chew into it. My pup loves it. Fav toy for outside right now.
This could cause a problem when the puppy tries to pass them. If she is digging....she is bored. Does she have any play toys, chew toys or another dog to play with?
Call a local vet for advice. You might can get some type of spray that will keep her out of the rocky area.
get her some medium size bones from the butcher,,,,,just that the puppy'ies teething,,,and wants to chew on things, yehh get some bones,,,
Get a remote trainer and give her a little shock everytime she grabs a rock.
