How easy is Curved Ridge on Buachaille Etive Mor?

I am a scrambler not dangelr. I have a reasonable head for heights but don`t fancy taking on something that is so exposed that I will freeze on the mountain with no way back down and only the only safe way off mountain being upwards into worse exposure. Naturally I don`t plan on going alone, but I don`t want to let others down by not being able to keep up.How easy is Curved Ridge on Buachaille Etive Mor?
a confident scrambler will be fine. provide you are route finding and wont be on your limit if the cloud comes in, or it rains.

From reading you other Question, it is worth developing your rock climbing skills if you plan to do all the munros. Even just get some experience seconding, that way you will be able to do hills via more interesting routes and enable you to make the most of Skye.

Lesson / Good instruction is not cheap, but you can't put too high a price on your own safety, plus they are skills for life. How easy is Curved Ridge on Buachaille Etive Mor?
Free, yes you can gain experience free, how do you know your climbing partner is following the best or safest practice, think of a sport where you clearly risk your life and not get any tuition.www.bmg.org.uk/members鈥?www.ami.org.uk/freelance.htm Report Abuse

Good answer above, except that instruction should always be free in rock climbing. It is an apprenticeship in which you learn (and pay) by being the ';belay ******';, and cleaning the route. Seek out a climbing partner who is a competent leader, and read up too.
