Youre making it seem that idolizing a great athlete is a BAD thing. Its not. Like somebody else said, aim high. Let the great athletes of the past inspire you to achieve your own personal greatness. In time your achievements would be a source of inspiration for others too. Its a sweet cycle.
Everyone wants to be the best. If you don't aim for the top, then why play at all!?!?!
it's what they gotta do. they were the legends. if they could win those championships with those skills and talents, why not learn from them?
