What is lux in video camera is it better to have many or mor lux ?

Lux = light, and is a way of mesuring the amount of light being recived by the camera, Your camera will have a minimum amount of light (lux)to be able to see normaly 1 or 2 lux for mono (black and white ) and higher amount of lux for colour cameras so the higher amount of light there is the better the picture will be. the lower the lux of the camera is the more sensitive it is to light. In camcorders it is how little light you can have and still get a picture, less is better but I'm pretty sure most have a maximum and a minimum.
