What isthe difference between a 57 chevy 150 250 or just belair and post or no post and which one is worth mor

150, 210, and Bel Air are all trim levels available in '57. The 150 had trim that resembled the side quarter trim on a '55. It did not have the typical '57 style quarter trim. The 210, had the '57 style quarter trim, but it had a lesser amount of stainless trim than the Bel Air model. The 210 lacked the stainless window and door moldings, etc. The Del Ray, also called a club coupe, was a step up from the 210, but was only available on sedans. The Bel Air was the top trim level, excluding the ultra rare El Morocco, and is the model most typically associated with the quintessential '57 Chevy. The two door sedans (post) were available in all trim levels. The hardtop was only available in 210 and Bel Air trim, though almost all of them were Bel Air's. The most valuable combination, excluding convertibles and rare cars like the 150 ';Black Widow';, and El Morocco, is the Bel Air hardtop. The difference between hardtop and sedan (post) is that the sedan had a B-pillar. The side windows were housed by a full door frame in front and a fixed quarter panel B-pillar section in the rear. The hardtops had no window frames or B-pillars and the doors were quite a bit longer than on the sedans giving it a lower sleeker look. The hardtops are almost always worth more than the sedans. A Bel Air sedan (post) is not a rare car at all. They built 62,571 of them. There was no 210 Bel Air. You got one or the other. What isthe difference between a 57 chevy 150 250 or just belair and post or no post and which one is worth mor
Just bel-air? That was the top of the line in '57. 150 is the bottom of the line with hardly any chrome. I'm sure you know what post and hardtop mean. The hardtop is usually worth more, everything being equal. What isthe difference between a 57 chevy 150 250 or just belair and post or no post and which one is worth mor

I don't know and have never heard about a 250.

Post vs no post...personal preference. I personaly prefer post. It looks cooler and more balanced to me but what do i know? :) My dad just owns a 55 Del ray named ';hell raiser'; ;) ;) not to mention a few 57s. Dad is a car junky. Me too :D

PS: ref 2 other answer: Yes bel air more chrome. Beauty it is :) Del ray has no chrome, just to clarify what i said above :)
the 210 belair i can't recall what it was called was a 2 door post with all the belair trim is worth the most very rare car. then the belair, followed by the 210 and then the 150. the 150 had a small chrome strip down the side like the 56 chevy with vinyl interior. the 210 had some cloth in the interior on the seats and the chrome on the rear quarter y'd and was painted in the center usually white and the top of the fin had a piece of chrome about a foot long. the belair if it was a V 8 had a gold grille, gold louvers on the front fenders and a gold V on the trunk and hood, also had an andonized aluminum strip in the y part of the chrome on the rear quarters and the chrome strip on top of the rear quarter almost reached the back glass and it was a 2-4 door hard top. the 150 and the 210 were 2-4 door post cars. only the convertibles and the fuel injected cars are worth the most. hope this clears up any questions. but it may cause more. just ask i owned more than one in my day.
